About Scott T. Cook

With a film degree from Cal Arts, and 4 years of advanced study at the S.F. Academy of Art,  he began his career as an artist, illustrator, sculptor, and filmmaker. Over the course of his career, he has grown into a creative director and franchise developer with a history of creative excellence for some of the largest names in the business.

At his core, he's a problem solver and a storyteller. Throughout his career he has used whatever medium he has had at his disposal to tell those stories. That approach has garnered him awards and recognition; including the coveted Disney Legacy Award. 

During nearly a decade with The Walt Disney Company, Scott served as a creative director, licensing manager, and senior creative leader, working across Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Lucasfilm franchises and helping translate beloved characters and stories into new products, digital media, learning experiences, and learning-based games. He has led multidisciplinary teams and external partners, developed creative standards and scalable content systems, and advised organizations on everything from brand strategy and visual storytelling to product development and innovation. Scott is a Disney Legacy Award recipient and has worked with organizations including Byju’s Learning, Osmo, Tangible Play, Kidspace Children’s Museum, OK Go, PragerU, Dreamworks, and Amazon Studios. His passion is helping people understand the power of storytelling—not simply as a creative discipline, but as a tool for building meaningful products, engaging audiences, inspiring teams, and connecting individual ideas to a larger vision.
