In order to break into the North American market, the multi-billion dollar ed-tech company, Byju's, needed a refreshed branding statement
for their emerging flagship product line, "Byju's Learning featuring Disney". In less than 4 months, we refreshed the entire visual library for over 25 SKU's, as well as creating complete style guides, marketing templates, and online store fronts. This in itself is a difficult task, but we were also able to do it with minimal design and content push back from the licensing partner, The Walt Disney Company.
Understanding a products story, as well as the context for which it must exist with third party licenses, was the key to this design challenge!

With so many contextual stakeholders, there were lots of boxes to check, and folks to make happy. From everything to color choices to proper separation of licensed characters and storylines, it all had to work together in a streamlined design that just looked fun!

Having multiple characters and franchises, with vastly different rules for each, it was imperative to understand and appreciate how the products personality needed to show through without overshadowing or inappropriately infusing with outside licensed content.
